Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has announced the opening of 234 Junior Executive positions across various engineering disciplines. Eligibility Criteria:-
Qualifications:-
Junior Executive – Mechanical: A total of 130 vacancies are available. Candidates must hold a 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Junior Executive – Electrical: There are 65 vacancies for candidates with a 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Junior Executive – Instrumentation: A total of 37 vacancies are open for candidates with a 3-year full-time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
Junior Executive – Chemical: There are 2 vacancies for candidates holding a 3-year full-time Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a recognized institution.
Note:Minimum Marks Required: 60% for UR/OBCNC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.(hpcl)

- Minimum age as of the last date for submitting the application: 18 years.

Age Relaxation:-
- General Age Criteria:
- Minimum Age: 18 years (as of 14th February 2025).
- Maximum Age: 25 years (as of 14th February 2025).
- Category-Wise Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: +5 years (up to 30 years).
- OBCNC Candidates: +3 years (up to 28 years).
- PwBD Candidates:
- PwBD (UR): +10 years (up to 35 years).
- PwBD (OBCNC): +13 years (up to 38 years).
- PwBD (SC/ST): +15 years (up to 40 years).
- Special Cases:
- Jammu & Kashmir Domicile: +5 years for candidates domiciled between 1st January 1980 and 31st December 1989.
- Ex-Servicemen & Commissioned Officers (ECOs/SSCOs): +5 years (subject to at least 5 years of service in the Armed Forces and fulfillment of other conditions).
- Additional Notes:
- Relaxed standards in assessment/selection will be applied for SC, ST, OBCNC, and PWD candidates.
- OBC candidates from the “Creamy Layer” are not eligible for relaxation and must apply under the UR category.
- OBCNC candidates must submit a self-undertaking confirming their Non-Creamy Layer status during interviews if shortlisted.
- SC/ST/OBCNC/PwBD certificates issued in languages other than English/Hindi must be accompanied by a self-certified English or Hindi translation.
These relaxations are as per Government of India directives and are subject to the submission of valid documentation.
Salaries / Pay Scale:-
The salary for HPCL Junior Executives ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000 per month.

- General (UR), OBCNC, and EWS Candidates: ₹1180/- (₹1000/- application fee + ₹180/- GST @18% + payment gateway charges if applicable).
- SC, ST, and PwBD Candidates: Exempted from paying the application fee.
- hpcl Payment Mode:
- Payment can be made through a Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.
- After successful payment, the status will be “Your Transaction is completed.”
- hpcl Important Notes:
- Ensure the payment status is marked as “Completed” to avoid the transaction being deemed incomplete.
- Save and print the acknowledgment of payment for future reference.
- Refund Policy: Application fees are non-refundable and cannot be claimed as a chargeback under any circumstances.
- Payment made does not guarantee an interview call or final selection.
- hpcl Modes Not Accepted:
- Payments made via other methods (e.g., cash, demand draft) will not be accepted.
Candidates must ensure they complete the payment process before the application deadline to avoid rejection.
Selection Process:-
Computer-Based Test (CBT):-
The initial stage of selection consists of a CBT to assess the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and aptitude.
The test may cover technical knowledge (specific to the applied discipline), quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and English language proficiency.
